Da most ultimately delayed post

WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE Holidays have started. EPIC YEAH. EPICally EPIC.

Anyway... so this is a LONG AGO happening... when Belle and I spontaneously decided to catch up on one cool Friday evening. We went out for dinner, AN AWESOME AMOUNT OF DESSERT, and a walk to the waste-of-money great Ferris Wheel by the river. Ahh... I just want to laugh out loud whenever I think of that day. =)

So, to the description of this day.

Friday afternoon. Knocked off uni at 5pm. Usual. End of the week- SO TIRED. The amount of stress and work load that piles up by the end of the week is always not a surprise but an expectation. So... feeling like literal crap and hoping for something awesome to happen so that my mood can be lifted, Belle telepathically connected with my thoughts and called me up. It was actually epic. After much indecisiveness and on the spot planning, we decided to meet up in the city for coffee. Which turned out to be dinner. Teehee.

We first walked around the city to see what there were. We decided against Northbridge... I don't remember what the reason was... but probably because we're always there... and it's all Asian. On a Friday night. Eww. AND we get enough of it at home. OK... I'll stop right there... can I not be racist against myself. Anyway, I digressed. SO we finally decided on The Merchant's. We went into the cosy cafe, and ordered our meal. YUM. I love that place... so comfortable, homey and wholesome. Yes, to use Ben's wise words- utterly wholesome. Hehe... we enjoyed our meal there... and decided to head to our second chosen destination of the night.

We walked along the street to Exomod, another cafe that is relatively new to town. We could not, like literally just could not, decide on what we wanted, so we ended getting 2 types of dessert each. And tea to accompany our sweet sensations. We were so bloated and full by the end of it... and so tired from laughing in our conversation. Man... Belle and I just have so much to laugh about when we catch up. I really don't know what triggers it, but no matter what we talk about, it leads to laughter. And more laughter. Love.

Word of the night: "LOLtastic!"

Belle: *in her cute as toy voice* "Stop de-icing me!!!" (this was when I was de-icing one of my desserts because it got way too sweet)

Belle: *sexy voice* "Because you're worth it." (context forgotten... sigh)

The whole night summed up- C Cubed. Cafe, Cakes and ... sigh... don't remember the last description!!! *sad face*

Moving on. Afterwards, we still didn't want to go home. It was about 9pm by then. And both of us do not drive. We both had to train/bus home from the city. Anyway, we walked towards the Ferris wheel because the lights shining on it at night made it look quite pretty. We like shiney things. Anyway. As we approached the Ferris wheel though... something distracted us.

Trees.

Not just any tree, but palm trees arranged in a spatial manner. They were situated right in front of the Ferris wheel, and when we both saw it, we though of BOLLYWOOD at once. As in, in synchronization. We both ran up to the trees at the same time, and did the exact same thing.

We each hid behind a tree on opposite sides, and poked our heads out opposite ways like typical lovers in a Bollywood film.

Hilarious. Simply awesome.

What a good night out it was... and after all this time (maybe a month ago by now?), I can still remember clearly what we did. It was awesome. So awesome.

I really appreciate you buddy, hanging out with you is epic.
